KIM [MULFORD] FARMER- owner and artistic director

  • Owner and Artistic Director of the Mulford Dance Studio
  • Danced with Ballet Souh of NJ
  • Choreographer and dancer with Al Albert's Television Show
  • Choreographer for The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade
  • Attended University of the Arts
  • Numerous Choreography Awards at the local and national level
  • Choreographed a lyrical piece which won Grand National Lyrical Champions for "One True Friend" 1995
  • One of the original board members for ITDI, International Dance Teachers, Incorporated.
  • Many awards dancing as a soloist at the local and national level
  • Her company was the only company on the East Coast to perform with Walt Disney Productions in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parades.
  • Her company has performed in Florida, The Bahamas, cruise ships, and all over the Delaware Valley.
  • Choreographed for the Mrs. NJ and the Mrs. Pennsylvania Pageants.
  • Judging the 2008 Mummer's String Band division in the Philadelphia New Year's Parade!
  • JUNE 2008- Kim celebrated her 40th dance recital!
  • The latest addition to her resume is being one of the choreographers for the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC April 4th, 2009, 2011, and 2012.
  • Kim is choreographing the Opening Float Production in the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade 2009!

  • Her students have gone on to dance with: Koresh Youth Dance Ensemble, Philadelphia Sixers Pre-Pro Dance Team, Sixers Mini Dance Team, Sixers, Junior Dance Team, Russian Ballet Theater of Delaware, Sesame Place, Atlantic City Casinos, Walnut Street Theater, Citrus Bowl in Florida, Nutcracker in Voorhees, Cruise Ships, Music Videos, Mummer's, March of Dimes Telethon, local cable shows, Al Albert's TV Show, performances at 6 Flags Great Adventure, The televised Millenium Celebration at the Pennslyvania Convention Center, danced in local pageants including Mrs NJ and Mrs Pa Pageants, Danced at the NJ Governor's Mansion, Eagle's Cheerleaders. KIXX Dance Team, Phila Soul Dance Team, 76ers Dance Team, and many university/college dance teams. Several have trained and gone on to open their own studios or teach at our studio.
   
 

SUSAN [MULFORD] SIEGEL- director of mulford mobile

  • Susan is the creator and director of MULFORD DANCE MOBILE, an on-site dance program for child-care centers and preschools.
  • Studied ballet, tap, and jazz under Nancy Mulford and Kim Mulford-Farmer
  • She competed and performed with the Mulford Dance Company
  • She continues her training attending dance conventions and classes in New York studying with some of the best teachers of our day
  • Attended classes at the University of the Arts
  • Choreographed many award winning routines.
  • Susan is an award winning teacher/choreographer. She has choreographed an overall high score tap group in 2009 winning out over 63 other tap groups.
  • Susan is one the best teachers in our area specializing in younger children.
  • 2012 Susan Celebrated her 40th Recital!

SUSAN MACDONALD- gymnastics director

  • Gymnastics Director
  • Trained at Will-Mor Gymnastics
  • Her students have received many awards for their acrobatic abilities
  • Studied dance including tap and ballet under Miss Porter.
  • Sue has been teaching for over 30 years.
  • Many of Miss Sue's students have won various titles in gymnastics and acrobatics
   
 

KATIE SAVAIIANAEA- hawaiian director

  • Hawaiian Director
  • Studied under her mother Colleen and her father Scope.
  • Scope and Katie run the SOUTH PACIFIC ISLAND DANCERS where Katie and her sister Eileen teach and put on Hawaiian shows regularly.
  • Teaches all styles of authentic Hawaiian Dance including Tahitian and Hula.
  • We are privileged to have Katie, Eileen and her Father, Scope, perform true Hawaiian traditional dances in our annual recital.
   
 

HEATHER TROUT- dance company co-director

  • Heather is currently CO-director of our dance company!
  • Heather trained at Nancy Mulford Studio of Dance since age seven studying ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and gymnastics. She became a member of our dance company performing in shows and competitions all over the tri-state area. When Heather graduated high school, she went on to nursing school where she received her degree as an RN. Heather is a full-time nurse with a passion for dance. Lucky for us!
  • Heather's focus became hip-hop and tap. She studied in Philadelphia and New York to gain a strong dance vocabulary in these popular forms of dance.

LISA EVANICH

  • Lisa grew up dancing and performing around her hometown of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. Lisa moved to Philadelphia a few years ago to attend Temple University’s Department of Dance in which August 2002 she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance.
  • We look forward to having Lisa on our staff again this year. While keeping it fun, she plans to keep her students educated in the art of dance.

DEVON FICARRA

  • Devon has been with the Mulford Dance Studio for eight years. She graduated as a dance major from the University of the Arts in May 2004. She studied dance in her home state of Massachusetts. Devon competed with her dance company in groups as well as solos. She toured with Starpowers National Talent Competitions Power Pak where she studied with many top-notch choreographers. Devon’s choreography for our junior and senior dancers has been amazing!
   
 

DANA RASMUSSEN

  • Dana has had a passion for dance since she was a young girl. She has trained at Nancy Mulford Studio since a young age. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. Dana attended Rider University. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Journalism and Public Relations. She was on the Rider University Dance Team. She attends NYCDA, Tremaine conventions, and The Pulse. Her performing experiences include PHILADELPHIA THANKSGIVING DAY AND LOCAL PARADES, THE ROCKETTE EXPERIENCE IN NY, CRUISE TO BAHAMAS, WALT DISNEY WORLD AND MANY COMPETITIONS. WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE HER TEACHING YOUNG CHILDREN'S CLASSES and Teen TAP AND HIP-HOP CLASSES. DANA HAS CHOREOGRAPHED FOR OUR JUNIOR/SENIOR DANCE COMPANY.
  • She went through our teacher training program.
  • Trained at New York's The Pulse Intensive for Teachers July 2010 and July 2011, July 2012.
   
 

COLLEEN RYAN

  • Trained at Mulford Dance Studio from a very young age until she went on to dance professionally. She was a member of the KIXX DANCE TEAM in Philadelphia. At our summer intensives, she always teaches amazing hip-hop classes!

KATIE-JO MCGOLDRICK

  • We are so happy to have Katie-Jo on our teaching staff. She has danced with us her entire life and has gone through our 3 year training program.
  • Katie-Jo studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, gymnastics, lyrical under the auspices of many of our faculty. She is well-rounded in dance.
  • Katie-Jo was a member of our Sr. Dance Company.
  • She performs with the Mummer's organization.
  • She is very excited to be teaching this year!

 

KERI HARRIS

  • Keri has trained with us since a very young age.
  • She was a member of our Dance Company.
  • After graduating high school, Keri went to college becoming a school teacher. Currently, she teaches in the Gibbsboro School district.
  • We are proud to have Keri teaching on our staff this year!

 

GIA CONEY

  • Gia is an exciting hip-hop teacher that we are so excited to have on staff.
  • Her approach is unique and informative. Students will learn so much about the history of hip-hop and also have a great time!
