About Our Company...
About our Dance Company... Our company is open to all registered students. We have performing companies for ages 3+up! November 2009, we danced in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade- aired on channel 6 in the Opening production, Christmas production, and the Grand Finale! Our studio offers many opportunities for our students. Beside performing in many different venues, our students had modeling opportunities with costume catalogs. In the Fall 2010 catalog of Costume Gallery, we will see one our students, Alyssa Jankowski, modeling recital costumes! Currently, some of our former company dancers are performing on the 76ers Dance Team, Kixx Dance Team, and one of our Hip-Hop Crew members, Tiffani Britton, was just selected (May 2010) for the 76ers Mini Dance Team!! LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE A CHILD AGES 3-8 INTERESTED IN PERFORMING IN SHOWS. We have a babyline and an apprentice line which trains and gets the young dancer ready for company.
For the dancers age 9 and up, we hold auditions for our company.
The Mulford Dance Company has a wonderful history. We were part of the Al Alberts TV Show for many years performing all over the tri-state area and weekly on the television show, we have danced in the NJ Govenors mansion, and danced on cruise ships in the Bahamas. Our dancers have been part of the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1995. As part of the Walt Disney productions, we were one of only 5 studios in the country to perform with Disney. Our dancers are also part of the Opening and Closing productions in the parade.
Part of our outreach program includes performing in local hospitals and nursing homes throughout the year. We are also proud to participate in the Mt. Ephraim, Collingswood, and West Chester Holiday parades.
April 2009, we danced in the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC Parade!
July 4th, 2009, we danced in the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade!
